A Dubai Police Clearance Certificate or Dubai PCC is an official document confirming the absence of an individual’s criminal activities in the country. The certificate issued by the Dubai Police proves the good reputation and conduct of a person in the Emirate of Dubai or the broader United Arab Emirates (UAE) from the security and criminal side.
The Certificate also known as Dubai Good Standing Certificate can be submitted to official bodies requiring such type of certificates, whether for the purpose of work, study, immigration, obtaining licenses or any other purposes. The Dubai PCC becomes a mandatory requirement in such cases.
Many employers in Dubai and abroad demand a Police clearance Certificate to ensure that the employees considered for jobs have a clean legal past. Similarly, universities and educational institutions may ask for a PCC for admissions and applications for scholarships. Police Clearance Certificates are also required for certain professional licenses and business set ups in Dubai.
The beneficiaries of the Certificate are individuals irrespective of whether they are citizens, residents, or visitors from outside the country.
